Support group facilitators form a key group of volunteers at Grief’s Journey and know how to have fun while supporting grieving families.
This training is a prerequisite for anyone looking to become a Grief’s Journey facilitator, but is also geared toward mental health professionals, school personnel, other service providers, and anyone who is interested in making a difference in the lives of grieving children, teens, and families.
A 20-hour comprehensive training that prepares adults to lead grief support groups includes a training manual and Grief’s Journey curriculum manual, which can be used personally or professionally once training has been successfully completed. CEUs awarded.

- Discover new activities to engage children in sharing and processing the changes that they have experienced following the death of a loved one.
